The story takes place in a small country called Hedston. Eric is Wesley’s brother and played in a band. Wesley is Eric's brother and friends with Neil. The aunts Anna and Claire are two adults who run a bakery and are looking after Neil and Bree. Bree is a teenager who likes to look after Neil. Neil Cady is a young boy who likes watching ghost hunting shows and has a troubled mother. Staying with their aunts for the summer, Neil Cady, his sister Bree, and their new friends Wesley and Eric, set out to explore Greylock Hall, an abandoned psychiatric hospital which is supposed to be haunted by the ghost of Nurse Janet. I recommend this book because if you like scary books, which I do, then you would love this one it has its thrills, scares, and its mysteries. This book was published by Scholastic Press in New York, September 2012. I read the book, The Ghost of Graylock by Dan Poblocki. Three main points in the book are Rain breaking her hip, Cap being elected 8th grade president, and living with a foster family. I recommend this book because it is relatable. This story is mainly about Cap trying to survive high school, while trying to not be a humiliated 8th grade president by Zach Powers. What’s worse, the daughter that lives with the foster family really dislikes him! I recommend this book because it has a relatable storyline. That means that he has to go to a public high school. When she breaks her hip while picking plums in the plum tree, Cap has to go and live with a foster family. Cap doesn't even go to school! He is homeschooled by his ‘Grandmother’, Rain. They don't have any modern devices such as a TV, phone, or any device like an Ipad or Iphone. Cap has lived on a farm-like place called “Garland Farms”.

This book is about a boy named Cap, short for Capricorn. I enjoyed this book because it is really relatable. Hyperion Books for Children’s is located at 114 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10011. It was published by Hyperion Books for Children on September 1st 2007.
